Matt Hardy is currently inactive from the ring at the moment due to some nagging injuries, and during last night’s SummerSlam event, he tweeted out some images that seemed to indicate that he has begun learning how to work as a backstage producer for WWE. During a recent interview with on Busted Open show on Sirius XM, Reby Hardy, Matt’s wife, was asked about the current status of her husband, and she said that his current deal with WWE will be expiring in March of next year. Matt Hardy’s in-ring career is up in the air right now, but Reby says that her husband is eager to learn more about the backstage duties in WWE and that only time will tell what is in store for Matt’s future in WWE. “He’s kind of giving it a go right now backstage. He’s at Summerslam. He’s not on the card but he’s there. And we’re kind of going to see from here. It’s really a transitional time right now.” Reby said.
