The 89th edition of JG’s Radio Free Insanity is on the air and available right now at WorldWrestlingInsanity.com (Flash and MP3 download) This week’s guest is original WWF Diva known as Sunny. The Controversial Tammy Lynn Sytch.

James Guttman begins the show by talking about Tammy. One of the things about her full uncut ClubWWI.com shoot that might strike listeners is her honesty. Sytch doesn’t hold back on anything and is very honest about her feelings. She lays it on the line regarding Chris Candido’s poor choices at different times and shoots on the worst mistake of her career. It’s just one of a ton of topics. There’s no one like her in the wrestling business. She was truly the first “Diva” in the World Wrestling Federation and was known for talking in a business where women were known as eye candy. What separated her further though was that she also WAS eye candy too. On so many levels, Tammy seemed to come along just as the wrestling industry was ready for someone like her. It’s what lead to her becoming America Online’s most downloaded celebrity for 1996/97. Just as the Internet was starting to move along, AOL was the first stop for many people eager to look at pics. At that time, “Sunny” was saved to more hard drives than even Pamela Anderson. It was huge and before the real break-out days of WWF sprung up.

Tammy Sytch discusses that in her 50 minute uncut ClubWWI.com shoot interview, but it doesn’t end there. There’s no subject about her career that’s off-limits. Aside from the subjects discussed on today’s Radio Free Insanity, you can hear Sytch talk about the biggest mistake of her career, frustration with overly grief stricken fans, managing L.O.D. 2000, bombing her first WWF tryout, Vince McMahon as a woman, The Bodydonnas, the Smoking Gunns angle, the woman who doesn’t deserve to be mentioned, her friendship with Dawn Marie, Smoky Mountain, beating Jim Cornette at the “name game,” Tamara Murphy, Carlos Colon, and much more.

Tammy is just one of over 90 stars on the Club. Among the other interviews available on ClubWWI.com are Eric Bischoff, Jerry Lawler, Vince Russo, John Heidenreich, Sid Vicious, Nick “U-Gene” Dinsmore, Christian Cage, Samoa Joe, Kevin Nash, Diamond Dallas Page, La Resistance, The Steiner Brothers, AJ Styles, Demolition, Paul Bearer, Bobby Heenan, Ted DiBiase, Road Warrior Animal, The Iron Sheik, Rhino, Dustin Rhodes, Earl Hebner, Charlie Haas, Christy Hemme, Christopher Daniels, and many more. Plus audio shows from D-Lo Brown, Bull Buchanan, Kevin Kelly, Orlando Jordan, Ivory, and Dr. Tom Prichard.

After discussing ECW’s future and how WWE is handling it, James cues up the interview with Tammy Sytch.

James Guttman begins the interview by welcoming Tammy Sytch to the show. He mentions how she’s gotten back into shape and he was blown away by recent pics he saw. Sytch thanks him and says that it all comes down to her post-WWE career. Once she got off of television, she “discovered cheeseburgers” and other food that wasn’t on the menu when she was keeping in shape for WWF TV. When you couple it with the tragedy that she’s had in her life over the past few years, it lead to her weight gain. Now, she back on her old diet and ready to break out once again and, as JG says, “unleash Tammy on the world.”

Sytch also discusses her accolade as AOL’s most downloaded celebrity for 1996/97 and how they even gave her an award for it. She also speaks about all her upcoming bookings (many of which can be found on her website – www.TammySytchOnline.com) Tammy speaks about her dates with Pro Wrestling Unplugged, Afa’s WXW, and even a New Year’s Even party she’ll be hosting. Interested promoters can book Sytch directly through her website.

– ClubWWI.com break –

James asks Tammy to elaborate on her departure from ECW. She explains that part of her backstage responsibilities with Chris Candido was to be “the travel department.” Since the company didn’t have the funds, she would put the travel arrangements on her American Express card and (ECW Owner) Paul Heyman would reimburse her. It was great for a little while and he paid regularly until.

“Eventually, those bills stopped getting paid and I heard all these excuses. “Next month, I’ll get you for two months. Next month I’ll get you for three months.” And I was like, “You know what? Enough. I’m not getting these tickets anymore.” But Chris being the fool who wants to help everybody in the world and wants to trust everybody in the world and especially Paul Heyman kept saying, “Oh. I’ve known Paul since I was nine years old. He won’t screw us. He won’t screw us.” Guess what. He screwed us. So inevitably, I had to sell my house to pay off my Am Ex bill because they were suing us for $170,000.”

Sytch says that Chris made some poor choices in the financial department. She adds that it sucks to have to sell your house to pay someone else’s debt. They got in a lot of fights over it. She was going to sue ECW for the money, but when they declared bankruptcy, there was nothing she could do about it.

Guttman asks if she and Heyman ever spoke or made amends after that. Tammy says they spoke a few times, but it’s obvious to Paul that she’s not his biggest fan.

“What am I gonna do now? Slit his throat? There’s nothing I can do now. This is from 2000. Seven years ago? Like I said, I’m not his biggest fan. If I was to see him, I’m not gonna run up to him and give him a hug.”

JG brings up the Shawn Michaels-Bret Hart controversy. Tammy’s name was brought into it and the most memorable moment was when Shawn said that Bret had been seeing “Sunny Days lately.” It lead to problems between Hart and his wife. Guttman asks Sytch if she explain what the whole thing was about. She does:

“Shawn and I had a nine month relationship. As soon as we stopped seeing each other, all of a sudden, for some reason he got in his warped mind that I was seeing Bret Hart. I have no idea where he got this from. Nobody has any idea where he got this from cause I wasn’t. Not at all. Bret and I were friends. I think it kinda came about, Bret Hart is a loner. He really does his own thing. The whole lone wolf thing is really him. He doesn’t like to be around the boys. So a lot of the times on the road, when I was the only girl on the road, I had my own locker room. Well, Bret had asked me, “Do you mind if I change in your locker room because I really don’t want to be around the guys.” I said, “Not at all. It’s no big deal.” I mean, I’m not in there the whole time anyway, just to change. So basically, my locker room became Bret and Sunny’s Locker room. When I wasn’t in there, he was in there. When he wasn’t in there, I was in there.”

Sytch says that people thought her relationship with Hart had to be more than what it appeared to be. Because of this, it lead to many of the comments during Shawn’s interviews. She chalks it up to hatred or possibly jealousy between the two. She told Michaels to let things go since they were no longer seeing each other and thought his attacks on Bret were unwarranted since they were just friends.

Remember, Tammy Sytch’s uncut ClubWWI.com shoot lasted for 50 minutes with no subject about her career that’s off-limits.
