Suspected U.S. drone strikes pounded Yemen early this week, killing at least four people.
Two people were killed in a suspected U.S. drone strike in the town of Shebwan, in Yemen’s central province of Marib, according to Yemen Times. An anonymous Yemeni interior ministry official told Xinhua that two men attending sheep near the drone attack were injured. According to TheBureau of Investigative Journalism, the drone strike occurred either Sunday night or Monday morning.

Another strike Monday in Yemen’s southern Abyan province killed at least one person, identified by TBIJ as Walid al Jemayzeh.
Residents of the southern Shabwa province said that, also on Monday, a suspected U.S. drone strike hit a vehicle traveling in the area, killing between two and four people. The Yemeni state news agency Saba reports that an earlier ambush against soldiers by unidentified attackers left six soldiers dead and 14 wounded.
