As noted, Ric Flair underwent successful heart surgery this week and is already being advertised for his first public appearance since the operation at next Friday’s SCWPro “To Be The Man” event in East Moline, Illinois.
In another update, although he has been forced to pull out of “The Roast of Ric Flair” comedy special that was scheduled to headline the upcoming Starrcast 2 Weekend festivities, the promoter of the event has already confirmed that fans who purchased tickets for the event will be able to get refunds, and that the comedy roast of the two-time WWE Hall Of Famer will still take place at a date to be announced in the future.
The promoter of the Starrcast 2 Weekend issued the following statement regarding the status of “The Roast of Ric Flair” after “The Nature Boy’s” successful heart surgery this week:
“The good news is that Ric Flair’s surgery was a success. The bad news is that his doctor won’t allow him to travel this weekend. As a result, his Meet & Greets at #Starrcast are being refunded. The Roast of Ric Flair will have to be postponed to a later date yet to be determined.”
