SmackDown averaged 2.099 million viewers on Tuesday night, up two percent from last week. This was the final SmackDown on USA Network before the show moves to FOX next Friday night (October 4).
SmackDown retained 95 percent of Raw’s viewers, the third straight week the retention has been over 90 percent.
With coverage of President Donald Trump’s impeachment inquiry dominating cable news coverage, SmackDown failed to finish in the top 10 in terms of total cable TV viewers, finishing 13th. It did top the ratings in the 18-49 demo with a 0.67 rating, which was 45 percent higher than second place Real Housewives of the OC.
Year-over-year, SmackDown was only down four percent from the same week in 2018. Network TV ran their season premieres last night and — despite strong numbers for those shows — SmackDown held up pretty well all things considered.

Since moving to USA, SmackDown has averaged 2.364 million viewers. That’s 84 percent of Raw’s viewership during the same time span.
