Since the college admissions scandal broke in March, Olivia Jade Giannulli’s life has changed drastically. She has been staying under the radar, and has only stepped out in public on the rare occasion. Now, per an E! News source, Olivia Jade has moved her things out of her parents’ Bel Air home.
“Olivia’s clothes and some personal items were moved out from her parents Bel Air house this week,” the source said. “She wants more privacy.”
The source went on: “Everything that’s going on with her parents is very stressful for her and she needs some space. She’s doesn’t feel that it’s healthy for her to live with her parents right now.”
Right now, the 19-year-old’s main focus is rebuilding her brand as an Instagram influencer. After the news of the college scandal broke, Olivia Jade lost her partnership with Sephora and TRESemmé.
“She wants to focus on rebuilding her business and not deal with daily negative attention,” the source told E! “This is the healthiest thing for her right now and she wants to do what’s best.”
According to other reports, Olivia Jade is resentful of her parents, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, and the effect that the scandal has had on her life and career.
“Olivia is still distraught and embarrassed,” a source told People in April. “She hasn’t been home much. She is very angry with her parents. She just wants to figure out how she can rebuild her brand.”
In mid-April, Olivia Jade’s parents pleaded not guilty to bribing the University of Southern California $500,000 to admit their daughters as rowing team recruits.
“She plans to fight this and for her girls,” a source told E! of Loughlin. “She can’t imagine what will happen to them if she goes to jail.”
