Ring of Honor ran their annual Final Battle pay-per-view this Friday night in Baltimore, Maryland, resulting in three new champions being crowned as we prepare to head into a brand new year.
In the show’s main event, 51-year-old PCO defeated Rush to become the new ROH World Champion. It is the veteran Villain Enterprises member’s first ever world title win, despite being in the business the last 32 years.

PCO is also one-third of the current ROH 6-Man Tag Team Champions with Brody King and Marty Scurll, although the status of those titles is uncertain as Scurll’s contract with the promotion has expired.
Dragon Lee defeated Shane Taylor to become Ring of Honor’s new world television champion. He is scheduled to team with Hiromu Takahashi on January 5th at night two of Wrestle Kingdom, taking on legends Jushin Thunder Liger and Naoki Sano in what will be Liger’s last match ever.
Finally, the team of Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham joined forces to defeat The Briscoes, winning the ROH World Tag Team Championships. Believe it or not, this is actually Lethal’s first tag team title win for the promotion, making him one of just five Triple Crown Champions in ROH history.
