On the scoreboard it looked like a decisive 24-12 Minnesota State wrestling victory over the University of Mary.
To the eye of coach Jim Makovsky, however, it was anything but decisive. He described his team’s performance as not a little but “a lot sluggish” at MSU’s Bresnan Arena Thursday. Outside of 184-pounder Corey Abernathy and 165-pounder Cody Quinn, he felt all of his wrestlers could have done better.
