Lars Sullivan has been in the news for much of last week as he has missed multiple WWE Events where he was scheduled. As previously reported, after initially talking to WWE early last week, Sullivan has not been heard from since and it has now reportedly caused WWE to change at least one planned segment for him.
It was previously reported that Braun Strowman was replaced in The WWE Universal Title Match against WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV Event. According to Dave Meltzer on F4WOnline.com, Strowman’s removal is not injury related and was always the plan, though he has yet to elaborate on exactly what that means. Mike Johnson at PWInsider suggested that the change was because WWE didn’t want Strowman losing yet again to Lesnar as the company has no plans to put the title on Braun. Finally, there are also whispers that WWE Officials were unhappy with Strowman’s promo last week with Brock and he is in the “doghouse” though that is a strictly unsubstantiated rumor at this point.
For those wondering, Paul Heyman continues to work closely with RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey on her TV promos and interviews and he is actually the main producer responsible for helping her come up with her content and delivery.
