According to a brand new report from PWInsider.com, both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have been sent home early from the WWE European tour. The report did not specifically indicate why the duo might have been sent back after Tuesday’s Smackdown Live taping, just that there were “conflicting stories”.

The rest of the WWE roster will remain in Europe through the weekend, with multiple shows remaining in England, Germany and Spain. The situation is interesting, as something significant would have had to go down to get two of Smackdown’s top stars sent back in the midst of an important overseas tour. Especially considering that two of the company’s top stars (Roman Reigns and John Cena) weren’t available, and WWE is already relying on Triple H and Kurt Angle to beef up some of this week’s live events.

We’ll keep you posted if more information becomes available.
