Alberto El Patron is currently one of the biggest stars in all of Impact Wrestling at the moment. Despite his controversial actions as of late, the man formerly known as Alberto Del Rio is still very popular at the moment, and PWInsider recently reported that Vince McMahon actually has interest in bringing Alberto back to WWE soon. The story gets even more interesting now as PWInsider reported today that Alberto recently visited WWE’s headquarters in Connecticut to film material for an upcoming Rey Mysterio DVD. It was reported that Alberto did meet with Vince while he was there. Alberto’s contract with Impact expires next month and he has made it clear that he would love to return to WWE in the past.
The “Woken” Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt feud has been met with a bit of a mixed reception from the fans so far. While it has been entertaining to see Matt Hardy reprise his famous “Broken” gimmick in WWE, months have gone by without Hardy incorporating some of the more interesting elements from the original Impact Wrestling gimmick into the character. Some of the doubts that fans have been having may be able to be put to rest now since Hardy announced on Raw last night that he and Wyatt will have another match at the Hardy Compound at an unspecified time. Hardy is even teasing introducing his “platoon” of characters from the original “Broken Universe” during the segment.

When Hardy announced that the match (known as the “Ultimate Deletion”) would indeed be taking place at the Hardy Compound, footage showing Hardy’s home, yard, lake, garden, Vanguard 1, and infamous dilapidated boat were shown. Since it was recently reported that WWE had obtained the rights to use some of the original “Broken Universe” footage from Impact, some assumed that the footage was used on last night’s broadcast. However, Matt’s wife, Rebecca Hardy confirmed on Twitter that the footage of the Hardy home was actually shot by her last week. She also took the time to express her own feelings on WWE using own footage during last night’s show.
