Footage claims to show an encounter between US fighter jet pilots and an unidentified aircraft.
It was released by To The Stars Academy of Art and Science, a research organisation founded in October 2017 by Luis Elizondo to conduct research into “exotic science and technologies.”
The recording, from 2015, was made aboard a Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jet which was flying over the US east coast.

In the clip, two pilots are heard shouting in disbelief after capturing the object on their ATFLIR Pod. According to To The Stars Academy of Art and Science, it "contains the most advanced sensors and powerful tracking systems on the market".
Christopher Mellon, an adviser to the organisation, wrote in the Washington Post that the US needs to put more effort into researching these sightings.
He questions whether the clip could be "evidence of some alien civilisation" or proof that the US was "technologically leap-frogged by Russia or China".
GO FAST is the latest in a series of declassified videos released by To The Stars Academy showing possible UFO sightings – the first being FL1R1, followed by GIMBAL.
While there have been leaked versions on the internet, the CoC establishes the authenticity and credibility that this version is the original footage taken from one of the most advanced sensor tracking devices in use.
Following the release of FL1R1 and GIMBAL, the US Department of Defense admitted to running a secretive five-year programme investigating UFO sightings.
The programme cost $22 million before it was shut down in 2012.
It was the first time the Department of Defense had acknowledged the existence of the mysterious Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program.
