The brand new Smackdown Tag Team Champions — nay, the WORLD’s tag team champions — Daniel Bryan and Rowan will be in action this Sunday at WWE’s annual Money in the Bank pay-per-view.
The dastardly duo will be in action against The Usos in a rematch from their awesome championship bout on last week’s edition of Smackdown Live, where Bryan and Rowan were awarded the vacant titles.
Right now it’s unclear whether or not the Smackdown Tag Team Championships will be on the line, as The Usos were moved to the Raw brand in the Superstar Shake-up. They’ve been allowed to appear on Tuesday nights due to the new “Wildcard Rule”, but it’s unclear what would happen if a Raw team won the Smackdown titles.
For what it’s worth all the advertising on WWE.com and the company’s social media profiles lists the match specifically as “Smackdown Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan & Rowan vs. The Usos”, so there’s no specific mention of the titles being defended on the pay-per-view.
