Anything can happen during the Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania, and that statement proved to be true last night as several stars debuted and returned during the show. Perhaps the most noteworthy return came when Bobby Lashley interrupted “The Drifter” Elias’ in-ring concert and laid him out. Lashley competed in WWE for a few years before leaving the company in 2008. He had been competing in MMA and in Impact Wrestling before returning to WWE last night. Lashley’s sudden return received a great reaction from the fans in New Orleans, so it will be interesting to see what is next for the former ECW Champion now that he has returned to WWE at last.

Another big return took place during a confrontation between Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, The Miz, and The Mizourage during Raw. Jeff Hardy returned to help assist Rollins and Balor as they fought The Miz, Bo Dallas, and Curtis Axel in the main event of last night’s edition of Raw. Hardy has been cleared to return to the ring from his injury for several days now, and while some fans may be disappointed that he did not return as the Brother Nero character from Matt Hardy’s “Broken Universe,” the two brothers did briefly interact with each other during a backstage segment on Raw. Seth Rollins got the victory for his team when he stomped The Miz to win the match.

After losing his match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, Roman Reigns appeared in front of the crowd on Raw last night to address his loss. Reigns stated that he was surprised that Lesnar had signed a new deal with WWE, but he was then interrupted by Samoa Joe. Joe then cut a promo on Reigns wherein he called him a liar and a fraud. Joe said that Lesnar exposed Reigns at WrestleMania, and then seemed to tease that he would like to face Reigns at the upcoming Backlash pay-per-view so that he could expose him as well. Last night’s surprise appearance on Raw marked Samoa Joe’s return to WWE after missing a several weeks of action due to a foot injury.
